The project scope was to create a Fieldhouse dedicated to the enhancement of the Jacksonville University Lacrosse Program. The new building is located between the Campus’s Main D.B. Milne Field and adjacent secondary practice fields. The building was designed to provide practical access from multiple sides, although the main entrance faces Milne Field. The spaces were designed to include both the men’s and woman’s athletic programs providing separate dressing rooms, bathrooms, equipment storage and office spaces for coaching staff. Additionally common areas such as a hospitality area, lounges, game room, movie room, study room and athletic recovery room were added to be shared and promote student congregation. Exterior lounging and seating areas were also provided.
