PQH was contracted for a project commissioned by St. Johns County, entailing the design and engineering of an innovative administrative complex. Spanning 107,000 square feet, this complex houses various county departments, including administration, human resources, finance, and purchasing. The project features a 300-seat Board Room to accommodate the County Commissioners’ meetings. The building is elevated to bring the usable space above the flood plain elevation and to accommodate parking below, aiming to optimize space utilization and provide secure, convenient parking for staff and commissioners. The building focuses on functionality and efficiency, and the complex was designed to meet the diverse needs of St. Johns County’s administrative infrastructure as it expands to meet the growth of the county.
