Project Overview
Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the Jacksonville University Health & Science Building serves as a hub for the university’s growing health sciences programs. Designed by PQH Group Design, the $20.5 million, three-story facility consolidates Orthodontics, Kinesiology, Mental Health, and Graduate Nursing into a single state-of-the-art academic center.
The building features advanced laboratories, a 43-chair orthodontic clinic, spacious classrooms, and flexible collaboration zones that encourage hands-on learning and interdisciplinary engagement.
Design Approach
The building’s contemporary brick-and-glass exterior integrates seamlessly with the University’s campus character while signaling innovation and transparency. Inside, the spatial organization supports movement between learning, research, and clinical environments; open lounges and social labs encourage informal collaboration among students and faculty.
