Project Overview

Located on the Jacksonville University campus, the Lacrosse Fieldhouse provides a new home base for the university’s men’s and women’s lacrosse programs. Designed by PQH Group Design, the single-story, 9,100-square-foot facility enhances both athletic and academic life by integrating team spaces, recovery areas, and shared amenities that strengthen the student-athlete community.

Positioned strategically between the primary and secondary play fields, the Fieldhouse serves as a functional bridge that supports day-to-day practice and game-day performance.

Design Approach

The design emphasizes efficiency, connection, and wellness. Each team has dedicated locker and equipment spaces while sharing central amenities that foster unity across the programs. The building’s circulation and visibility support natural flow between practice, preparation, and recovery.
