Located in St. Augustine, Florida, the Borland Groover Ambulatory Surgery Center & Clinical Office establishes a new benchmark for outpatient healthcare delivery. Designed by PQH Group Design, the $10.5 million, 27,000-square-foot facility integrates surgical, clinical, and administrative functions under one roof to optimize workflow and patient experience.

Serving as a prototype for future regional facilities, the center supports both clinical flexibility and procedural autonomy for the Borland Groover practice network.

Design Approach

The design emphasizes clarity, adaptability, and comfort. Circulation paths are organized to separate public, clinical, and staff movement; this improves operational efficiency while maintaining privacy and infection control. Abundant natural light, neutral materials, and clear wayfinding contribute to a calm, welcoming environment.
