Located in St. Augustine, Florida, the $1.9 million UF Health Crucial Care facility (formerly Flagler Hospital Crucial Care) establishes a new prototype for outpatient medical offices focused on efficiency, flexibility, and healing environments. The project reflects UF Health’s commitment to delivering accessible urgent care in growing communities through high-quality, efficient design.
Design Approach
The building’s exterior presents a clean, modern expression that aligns with UF Health’s identity while welcoming visitors with a bright, glazed lobby that promotes openness and calm. Inside, the 4,096-square-foot layout supports streamlined patient flow from check-in to treatment, minimizing transition time and improving clinical efficiency.
